While toys are supposedly the great way for making fun and enjoyment, solving puzzles on the other hand is something useful for the young children in a way to instill and cultivate hand-eye coordination and motor skills. There are broad varieties of puzzles for children around, which commonly include “shape sorting”, which is a strategic play and learn puzzle game in which a child is required to strategically sort wide-ranging shaped blocks out and put them away in the appropriately shaped slot. These are quite useful for children advanced in age, because it has everything to develop their basic solving skills as well as hand-eye coordination.

Jigsaw puzzles are another exceptionally popular play and learn (in Danish leg og lær) type puzzles for children. These puzzles come with variation in levels suiting to a wide range of ages and mental ability. Jigsaw puzzles require the users to fit the specifically shaped pieces (ranging from a few four to thousands) into matching holes in a board. Designed with young children in mind, the jigsaw pieces come in adorned form so that when combined together flawlessly they form a complete picture. Solving the basic puzzles will not only augment the hand-eye coordination of the child but there will a phenomenal improvement in his/her memory. Jigsaws designed for advanced children usually come included with alphabets and numbers to facilitate familiarize them with the respective skills.

Some other available puzzles require users to match shapes and colors. This is also an effective exercise with respect to the improvement of hand-eye coordination skill, as the result of which your child will be able to mark difference between various shapes and colors. Although these puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn) are basic in type and therefore require the user to be average in skills, yet the ultimate result is quite effective for the children.

By and large, puzzles are the primary ladder for the development of skills in your children. Incidentally, young children tend to become upset when they cannot solve the puzzles despite making the best of the efforts. Because of having immature skills in the hand-eye coordination or thought processes required to complete them, this is something quite common to find in the children with young age.

Young children dealing with puzzles at an immature age is advantageous from all levels including developing fundamental manual handiness and memory skills. As they tend to become older, they become prepared to deal with complex puzzles, which aid them in the development of language and numeric skills. While solving the play and learn puzzles on a regular basis, they tend to become more and more comfortable dealing with them on their own, which results in a rewarding experience for both the parents and the child.

The world of Humpty Dumpty or Jack and Jill is too close to our hearts when we were kids and when we grew up. The same attraction yielded from bedtime stories of kings and queens, idyllic palaces and decorated bastion. Superman, Batman, Spider man and He-man still make us go mad and we crave for that ecstatic perfect life as depicted in movies and magazines. The children are more than elated and electrified when it comes to all this. The same level of involvement and excitement can be seen on their face at the sight of their beloved toys and playthings.

Today almost all toys enable kids to get equipped with particular skill which may start with defining eye movement and eye- hand coordination to recognizing the toy and involving the other parts of the body to grab that if it’s kept far away. In fact you don’t have to educate your child how to play with the toys. They are fast enough to catch the trick after two or three attempts. The scholarship can extend from mere playing to learning letters and numbers of the alphabets and recognizing colors. As in most things in life, at the end, it all comes down to money. The NCAA has made a big effort to try to keep college sports at an amateur level. Players, or to be more precise, student-athletes should play for the love they have for their Alma Matter and the love for the game. At the end, amateur is French for the Latin word that signified lover. But just as they say money can’t really buy love, is there such thing as love without money? Particularly when most of the love is actually going to the grown ups, the adults in college sports who make the big paychecks? There seem to be a couple arguments against paying student-athletes for playing in NCAA Division I teams. Particularly those involved in the major conferences in college football and college basketball. I’ll try to break them down a bit here. Those who want to keep it amateur On one side, those in favor of keeping college sports amateur insists that it would be impossible to pay athletes on a fair basis. That is, should the Alabama Crimson Tide’s quarterback make more money then his homologue in the Florida Gators?

For that matter, how would you pay male and female basketball players who represent the same college? And if Football players get paid, should lacrosse and soccer players get paid too? Those who make this argument also (perhaps unknowingly) concede that it’s not a matter of paying or not paying, it’s just not viable to make it fair (whatever fair means in this cases) for all student-athletes to get paid. Then there is the case of those who believe that players shouldn’t get paid not because it is fair or unfair how you divide the money, but those who believe that offering these students housing, board, books and free tuition should be more then enough. People who make this case often considered that there is no such thing as the exploitation of student athletes. For the last 20 years, athletes have been portrayed as the victims of college sports. Division I sports had and probably will keep on been portrayed as a sort of circus where everybody makes money except for those who are actually making the game be. And yet, what many argue here is that many college students come out of school with over $200,000 worth of debt, while these guys are well taken care of.

There is one other argument for those in favor of keeping things amateur. And that lies on a thin argument. Many consider that what attracts fans to watch from home or crowd the stadiums and arenas is not the respect or love these fans have for individual players, but rather the passionate love they feel for the school. These fans are cheering for the jersey not for the player. Some will go on a say this is what separate the popularity of college football and basketball and the lesser attention received by little league sports. It’s a thin line, isn’t it? It’s hard to say if this adds up. Does it matter if fans cheer for the jersey or the player? I mean, at the end, it’s the players, anonymous as they might be, who give life to those jerseys, who make them be the center of attention.

Learning is a must to develop your mind. Kids hate that the most. Now a child can’t be devoid of knowledge. If he has it, then it should be used and nourished when he is in his childhood. That is the time period for a human being to grasp the most amounts of information and tricky wits in them. The wisdom got in the age between 7 and 15 is the most efficient ones and tough to erase from mind if they are deep borne with good understanding.

In today’s world the kids are more exposed to playing games on computers and play stations. This no doubt only helps the kid to sharpen his skills of confidence and wit but at the same time he is depriving from the studies and not able to spend time for that. Not because he does not want to but because it seems a bore for them. No kid loves studying but it is our job to present them the daily study data in the form of a play and learn routine. The teachers can get innovations in the learning process for enhancing the study process. Like for instance online market has been very helpful for these, you can have books-grammar books of different volumes availed. Here these resource books contain material for a wide variety of games to be played in the English classrooms. They have traditional ‘noughts and crosses’ games as a like and other sections also have sentence building activities where they have to do this in a group competition. This seems to be a fun atmosphere in the classroom and likewise students can also realize their weak points while competing with their own counterparts. The play and learn (in Danish leg og lær) experience so far has a great deal of takers.

Parents and teachers are actively looking forward for such ideas and implementing them with their kids. Humanistic and effective approach involves the students in thinking and action. Students fighting from reading problems also can develop their skills by learning online. They can be dealt with love and care. The parents and teachers need to understand this. It can be dyslexia- the commonest reading problem (in Danish læseproblemer) found in kids. This has easy but time consuming remedy like the kid needs to get practiced with the reading and writing thing daily. He has to be encouraged instead of disparaging him from the world.

The solution for every problem in the world is known but the biggest solution lies in the way you handle your problems.

According to a recent study conducted on the children in playschools, there’s still happiness to be found in the ambience of a kid’s nursery. The sound of gurgling laughter, crying and non-stop chatter in a nursery can actually turn you deaf. Running around and playing on the swings and slides give children immense satisfaction. Whether it is playing games with children their age or, singing songs or reciting a poem and listening to stories the teacher enacts through the use of puppets. In short, lots of children enjoy preschool because it’s a happy place to be in.

New comers to a nursery may take a while to get adjusted to the new surrounding, new faces and new routine. Some children can’t overcome the thought of having left their parents while others quickly get accustomed to the atmosphere and don’t miss their parents at all. Children are loud when they like something. Especially when the teacher teaches them the lines to a rhyme and they have to repeat it. Each child wants to be heard and wants the teacher to notice them and in the process lands up being louder than the other. Rhyming games set to popular tunes give children a chance to play with these rhyming words until they actually understand them.

Teachers often ask the children to snap their fingers or clap their hands or tap their feet and jump. All this reinforces a physical response to auditory instructions. Children love playing games that involve animal sounds or sounds of a car horn or a bike. Children are possessive and like to have their names written on their plates, spoons glasses and cant stand anyone else using it.

They also get used to reading in print. OSA is a portal that caters to parents and helps makes school admissions a delightful experience.
